      With the rapid expansion of global photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage power stations, and new energy industries, the demand for power supply directly from high voltage DC buses has become increasingly common. PV array output voltage fluctuates widely from a few tens of volts in the early morning to several hundred volts at midday, and battery bank voltage varies with state of charge. Traditional DC-DC modules often require a front-end step-down stage or are only designed for narrow input ranges, increasing system complexity and cost. Moreover, outdoor applications demand high-isolation, wide-temperature operation, stringent EMC performance, and high-altitude suitability.

      To address these challenges, ZETTLER Magnetics has launched a 50W encapsulated DC-DC converter with PCB-mount-the DPL50SXX00EAA series, which are specifically designed for PV inverters, solar systems, outdoor battery energy storage, and high-voltage industrial control applications.

1. Ultra-wide Input Voltage Range: Supports 80VDC to 750VDC input range, with rated input from 150VDC to 650VDC, covering PV panels, battery banks, and HV DC buses without the need of external step-down circuits.

2. High Isolation And Safety Approvals: Input-output isolation voltage ≥4000VAC, Class II protection, IEC/EN62109-1 (CB, CE-LVD) certified, and design complies with UL1741.

3. Industrial-Grade Wide-temperature And High-Altitude Operation: Operating temperature ranges from -40℃ to +70℃ (natural convection cooling, refers to the derating curve in datasheet), up to 5000m altitude operation, suitable for harsh outdoor environments.

4. Comprehensive Protections: Input reverse polarity protection; output overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), and short-circuit protection (SCP).

5. Low Standby Power: Typical standby power consumption <0.3W @ 500VDC input, typical 87% efficiency @ 500VDC.

6. Compact Package and High-Reliability Design: Dimensions only 109×58.5×30 mm.

7. The EMC Compliance: meets EN55032 and EN55035.
